The hotel boasts more than 30,000 square feet of sheer wonder. Along with the ice chapel itself, you'll also want to visit the art exhibition hall, the cinema and world famous Absolut ice bar.
The ice chapel is created each year with the snow and ice supplied by the nearby Torne River. Each spring tons of ice is harvested from the river and stored in a production hall for use the following winter.
The magnificent chapel is utilized for traditional church services, christenings and weddings and then melts back into the river in the spring.
