Everyone loves to tick a box -and here's some really big boxes to tick. It is the overview page. This page includes the Big Picture - who is taking care of what!

How do you tackle everything that needs to be done? I suggest that you firstly print off this Wedding Plannig Checklist and use it as an overview.

The Bride and Groom should discuss who will be responsible for the tasks on this page. Tasks such as ceremony venue, wedding reception venue, wedding ceremony details, wedding guest list, wedding cars, music and entertainment, wedding photography, wedding flowers, bridal gowns and outfits, wedding jewelry, wedding cakes, wedding rings and more.

It doesn't mean that only one person is completely in charge of it all - but it is "their" task and their responsibility to get things moving on it. You may ask others to be involved.

You might want to tackle everything yourself. But, you know, there is a lot to do and there are many willing helpers, if you just ask. Delegate as much as you are willing and print out a wedding checklist overview for them too. Be clear as to what you would like others to do and what you'd like to do yourself. It's really important to communicate well so everyone knows their job without stepping on to someone else's toes.

It's a great idea to delegate as much as you can.
