One In and Two Out

When you buy something new, you should try to get rid of two old items.
Sometimes it is hard to think of what to get rid of because you like the look of it and you think "one day, I'll use it." However, if you have had it in your cupboard for at least 12 months, and haven't touched it, you won't notice that it is gone.
To feel better about getting rid of it, you can give it to a charity shop. Place it in a bag and put it straight in the car ready to drop off. If you don't, you'll be tempted to put it back on your shelf.
Getting rid of 2 items when you bring something new in the house, means you are decluttering one thing at a time.
