Dream of Clean? Need some home organization tips for the living room? You are at Month 4, Week 15 - It's time to sort and clean the living room for the second time.
First you will need to declutter - try 5 minutes a day; Your declutter list or plan will be unique to you as you only know what there is, how much of it there is, and where it is.
Then on to Organizing: Now that your shelves have been cleared of excess 'junk' - it's time to organize - put some nice things around your living room.
Thirdly - you can Clean! Now that you've decluttered and sorted some initial items from your living room, it's time to clean. It might feel like quite a big job this time, but if you get in routine - this will also become easier.
Dream of Clean - Month 4, Week 15 in the Living Room
De-clutter furniture. If your living room has too much furniture in it,
consider donating or selling anything you don't like or want. Use home
magazines as inspiration for how to place furniture in a room. This is an easy
way to give your living room a new look.
Place plants in spaces where they get
enough sunlight and are reachable (so you can water them regularly).
floors according to the type of flooring you have.
Once every week or couple of weeks, depending on how much time you have, do a
deep floor clean and get behind furniture. Carpets should be professionally
cleaned once a year.
